What we build
Riv Lux Media is an independent digital studio in New York. We design and build four things, and we build all of them end to end — strategy, design, engineering, launch.
Every project is shipped by the same small team that designed it. There is no handoff to an offshore build shop, and no account manager between you and the person writing the code.
The four
Web design and development
Brand websites that load fast, read clearly, and convert. Custom design, hand-written front-end, real content strategy. This is the bulk of what we do.
3D and WebGL websites
Real-time 3D in the browser — WebGL, three.js, custom GLSL shaders. Fewer than 3% of web agencies can build this. The site you are reading runs 110,000 GPU-driven particles as proof.
Browser games
Playable marketing that people share. No app store, no install, no plugin — a link that opens and plays. We have shipped five.
Web apps and AI products
Tools with a working brain behind the interface. Progressive web apps, dashboards, AI-backed products that do something real rather than demo well.
Two languages, natively
We write and build in English and Spanish. Not translated — written. Three of our own products ship bilingual copy that was drafted in Spanish first, and it reads that way.

We quote fixed scope with a fixed price. No hourly billing, no surprise change orders — if the scope moves, we tell you what it costs before we do it.
Common questions
Do you work with clients outside New York? Yes. Most of our work is remote. New York is where the studio is, not where the client has to be.
Do you do SEO? We build sites that are technically sound for search — server-rendered HTML, structured data, clean information architecture, fast Core Web Vitals — and we write the content with search intent in mind. We are not a monthly-retainer SEO agency.
Can you take over a site someone else built? Often, yes. A rescue on an existing codebase is a different job than a fresh build, so we look at the code before quoting.
Do you build on WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify? We build custom when custom is the right answer, and we say so when it isn't. If a Shopify store is what your business needs, we will tell you that rather than sell you an engineering project.
What is the smallest project you take? A single well-made page. Small is fine. Vague is not.
